  • Children on Board
Children are welcomed in Arua, and we provide life jackets and snorkeling equipments for them. Please be aware of the potential dangers that surround us on the ships and in the tropical environments, both on land and on water that we cruise through. When on land or in the water, please try to get your children to refrain from getting too close to animals or straying off the path. It is of utmost importance for parents to be vigilant and to watch their children at all times. Children will be under the full responsibility of the parents at all time. While our crews are great with kids and will show them all a fun time, please try to not let them get in the way of the crews going about their daily duties, as this reduces productivity and will slow down how we go about our cruise. When the work is over and it comes time for play, our crews will be more than happy to entertain your kids all they like. We do not have internet on board, so online gaming will not be possible.
  • Tipping & Gratuities
If you're satisfied with our crew's service, it is a time-honoured tradition on all cruise vessels of the world to tip the crew at the end of the voyage. However, this is just a suggestion and remains entirely up to your judgement. If you wish to tip the crew, it should be given to the Captain at the end of the trip, who will then distribute it evenly among the crew.
  • Do You Have Internet?
We do not have Wi-Fi on board. However there are cell towers all over, and we will come into range of these from time to time. If you are a foreigner and would like to buy a local SIM, pick Telkomsel as it has the best coverage. Please note: If you run a business that requires you to be constantly online, or simply cannot be without a regular connection for staying in touch with friends and family, then an Arua cruise may not be the best match for you.
  • Fitness Levels
The minimum level of fitness we do require is to be able to handle stairs between decks, and to be able to get in and out of our speed boat onto beaches and docks. We try, when possible, to offer activities to suit all levels: for instance, when trekking in Komodo we have easy, medium, and hard treks available so everyone gets a chance for a dragon encounter. When other treks or activities are beyond the reach of some guests, we offer the option of staying on the boat or at the beach to relax.
